Garmin Gravel Worlds Celebrates 15 Years of Epic Gravel Riding
Registration Opens on November 18th at 9 am Central
Lincoln, NE –– November 16, 2023 –– Garmin Gravel Worlds announces the opening of registration for its 15th annual event. Registration will commence on Saturday, November 18th, at 9:00 am CST. At the same time, registration for the group’s Winter Endurance event in February will also kick off.
Founded by Corey Godfrey in 2010, Garmin Gravel Worlds has grown to be one of the largest gravel events in the world, attracting an international field of cyclists and runners. In 2023 Garmin Gravel Worlds attracted more than 2,000 athletes from all 50 states and 14 countries.
This milestone 15th year promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for participants, with courses that combine challenging routes with the scenic beauty of Nebraska's rural gravel roads.
Gravel Worlds Founder and Gravel Cycling Hall of Fame inductee, Corey Godfrey, expressed his excitement for the event and its longevity.
"It's incredible to see how Gravel Worlds has grown over the past 15 years,” Godfrey said. “What started as a passion project with a group of friends has evolved into a celebration of gravel cycling and running, bringing together athletes who share a love for adventure and exploration.
“The longevity of the event comes from the incredible support from participants, volunteers, sponsors, and the local community."
Gravel Worlds Director of Operations and Marketing, Jason Strohbehn, said the event celebrates everyone who chooses to come out and participate.
"As we open registration for our 15th year, we're thrilled to continue providing cyclists and runners with a unique and challenging gravel riding experience,” Strohbehn said. “Garmin Gravel Worlds has led to a community we call the ‘Gravel Family’, and we look forward to welcoming both returning and new athletes to join us in celebrating this milestone."
In addition to the 15th annual Garmin Gravel Worlds, the second annual Winter Endurance event is set to take place on February 17th, 2024. Registration for this winter cycling and running challenge will also open on November 18th, giving participants the opportunity to secure their spot in this fun yet challenging event.

Event Date: August 23-24, 2024
Registration Opening: November 18, 2023, at 9 am Central Time
Weekend Activities: August 22-25, 2024. Group rides, Expo, Panels, Live Music Everyday
Event Distances: Bike: 150-mile, 75-mile, 50k, and 300-mile. Run: 25k and 10k.
Winter Endurance Race:
Registration Cap: 400
Event Date: February 17, 2024
Registration Opening: November 18, 2023, at 9 am Central Time
Event Distances: Bike: 150k, 100k, 50k
