“Gallant Grand” Pirate Cycling League Kit

This kit was designed in celebration of the 1000 Women of Gravel Worlds. Every aspect of this kit was designed to highlight and celebrate one of the most incredible accomplishments on dirt in 2022. We hope all enjoy this kit and wear it with pride! -
1. Design: The base design of this kit is made up of 1000 individual blocks of different colors and sizes. While each color and block is beautiful, coming together makes something absolutely incredible.
2. Never Been Done: Just like the 1000 Women goal, we wanted a kit that had never been done. Not only has @pirate.cycling.league never done a purple kit or a kit that looks like this, but we also don't think we've ever seen a kit that looks like this. We wanted something unique that would draw attention and start conversations and we really think this kit will do just that.
3. Name: "Gallant Grand" The PCL has always taken pride in the naming of our kits. Sometimes funny or satirical, but times like this are serious. "Gallant" plays on the word "Gal" or woman, but most importantly means Brave or Heroic. For so many of the women in 1000, being a part of this took a lot of bravery and strength to overcome their own hurdles. And to everyone that came, it takes courage to stand up to be a part of change. The second word, "Grand" is a play on 1000, but most importantly means magnificent, imposing great attention, or denoting the largest of something.
4. It's For Everyone: Lastly, we wanted a kit that everyone could be proud to wear. Like the 1000 Women goal, this was accomplished by the community and we wanted a kit that everyone in the community would look good in. Something designed that is flattering regardless of size, color, or gender. - We are beyond proud of this kit and we hope you are too.
